Chicago Auditions

Chicago Day 1 was amazing. We found this past year's winner, Kevin Skinner, in Chi-Town as well as our season 3 winner Neal E. Boyd.  Can the Midwest do it again?

Check out the coverage from the NBC affilate. If you missed us Saturday, we'll still be here tomorrow, Oct 18.  Just come down and see us!

WAITING...IT WAS WORTH IT!!!!!!!! THE WAIT...IN LINE!!

From San Diego to Los Angeles was just a hop skip and jump for me and my niece when I started talking to many others who came really far, AZ, San Francisco, Reno with kids etc. God Bless them and everyone. Yes, I am waiting like all of you too..but, If I make it..its Gods will and if I don't then there's next year. To and for everything their is a time and place in life for everything. It make for a very long day, but longer for many others who were there all day and then driving back to reno, NV etc. Good luck to all of you and I met some really great people. Boy was I nervous..omg...but I made it through and the rest is out of my hands. I have been singing as a little child. My dad was a preacher and playing the piano since I was 8 years old..learned by ear.
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE..AND GOD BLESS THE ONE WHO MAKES IT AS THE WINNER. KEVIN WAS AND IS GREAT. WAITING FOR AN EMAIL..IF I GET ONE. ITS OUT OF MY CONTROL.

HERE IT IS:

Will I find out if I make it to the next round of the competition at my audition?
No you will not find out if you make it to the next round the day you audition. Those acts moving on in the competition will be notified by late Spring 2010.

why does it say this if ppl are already being selected already

jUST FOOD FOR THOUGHT....

Only those acts that are moving on in the competition will be notified. Auditions are still being evalulated, no decisions have been made yet.

Thats wat im thinking

I kno you've been waitin for this but i'm not trying to give to much away but i know someone who made it to the next round. The person got the call like a week ago but even though people have been selected it still says no decisions have been made yet not tryin to put yur hopes down but i didnt receive my call YET either ,but im still going to stay prayful and keep waiting, but now you kno some decisions have been made. hope it helped!!!!

STILL WAITING

has anyone heard anything about the second round?

Anticipating wait!

Has anybody been called back for the next round yet. cus it is a very suspenseful wait!!!! Just wondering?

Hey guys! Matt Zittritsch

Hey guys! Matt Zittritsch here, some of you may have seen me at the comp. I was a tap dancer and got to talk to a singing vampire ;) I was wondering when I might find out if I made it or not to the next round?

Praying that your feeling was right

Hey Matt! I remember that you said you had a strong feeling that there were five of us standing outside that first set of doors, all strangers to one another before that day, that we we each make it on the show. I don't remember anyones name but there were, two young men with guitars and awsome voices, an enchanting young lady with a violin, a young lad (being you) with magic feet that never quit and of course yours truly Count Sin Atra aka the vampire :}. As I am myself following a dream premonition, I pray and indeed I feel that you were right!

Chicago auditions

I would like say thanks to the staff of A G T and that I am looking forward to moving on to the next round,so I can better showcase my talent and impress the judges,so I can win the hearts of America and ofcourse the million dollars.

celebrity judges

Once word starts getting out to the people who made it through to the celebrity judges, it sure would be nice if someone would post a comment letting everyone know. We're still waiting, and I will definitely post once we get comfirmation. Thanks all, and
Chi-town rocks!

seecond audition

By now it's clear that those of us who haven't been called is because we didn't make it to the second round. The second auditions have already started in Connecticut. I saw it in ticketmaster. Auditioning for AGT was a great experience, even if I didn't make it to the next round. I wish GOOD LUCK to those of you who made it!!

seecond audition

I looked up ticket master and investigated those shows in Conn. That is not for new contestants. The show is hosted by Jerry Springer and it is featuring the talents of 2009, including Kevin Skinner. Thank goodness, I was ready to faint!

Today is the 22nd of January

I'm still waiting and hoping because the way I see it there's February all the way up to march 1. now with being said they said they notify us far in advance right? January ain't over with yet. So there's still a chance.I'm not giving up hope just yet.

Just a question

Hey if we dont make it to the next round, is there a certian date like if u are not called by this time then u did not advance or what? Im not saying i dont want to make it. I just dont want to be all excited for it while the whole time I have no idea that i have been cut.

they will post under chicago

they will post under chicago everyone has been contacted if they made it to the next round it should be by the end of January 2010 hoped it helped good luck to all!!!

answer to just a question

i think they said we could get the call anywhere between january and march but if we didnt make it we wont get called,i was joking around with another auditioner saying "if we see promotional commercials for americas got talent season 5 then we know we didnt make it lol" i had to joke to calm the nerves a little but everyday i keep anticipating the phone to ring, good luck to you.

Chicago

Let's keep the Winning streak in Chicago!!!! Auditions were great because everyone was so supportive and genuinely interested in each others' acts. The staff was so friendly and also great at making things runs smoothly with so many people to see. I was amazed! I have never before experienced that feeling at an audition. Thanks Chicago!!

Awsome adventure in Chicago

This was my first audition of this magnitude. It was great. Was just sitting on my couch, ringing in the new year, and it dawned on me that the phone calls for the next round could be coming anytime. Waiting and praying for the change to progress to the next level. Good luck to all who auditioned, and I look forward to seeing you all again, whether it be at the next audition, or from the comfort of my living room. But either way...it was an awsome experience! Thanks to all the producers, and staff for a great memory.

good luck all!

Quick! I need your help..

I accidently threw away all of my America's got Talent stuff in the trash and was wondering will I need the number sticker and waistband when I go to audition in Los Angeles in front of the celebrity judges. I'm like most of you, still waiting on the phone or email but should that happen; I want to be prepared, when and if I go there.aNYONE'S WHO'S BEEN IN THIS SORT OF THING BEFORE, CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT TO EXPECT?like I said, this is my first time doing this sort of thing.

david spellsinger's picture

Stick with your sticker or be stuck without?

I'm like you my friend, this is my first time through as well. I went back and looked at past epasodes of AGT and most contestants were wearing there stickers. I'm glad I kept mine as a keep-sake, but I,m sure you will be fine: they will probably give us fresh ones anyway.

Can't Wait!

This was my second year auditioning in Chicago and It was an even greater experience than last year! I think I did allot better this year and can't wait for the results in January! If anyone would like I have a youtube account with a few videos! Check em' out and comment! Thanks!
