The judges have almost completed their tour around the country looking at talent.  This week we are in Howard Stern’s hometown for the final audition city of the year.

Fellow judge Howie Mandel gives Howard some advice for his new job on America’s Got Talent.

In recognition and honor of our new judge Howard Stern, we have decided to add one last open call.

On Monday February 27th, the producers will return to New York City for a one day only open call.

It is open to any age and any talent, and we’ll be there from 10am to 10pm.

If you auditioned in October when we were there the first time, you auditioned at any other open call this year you do not need to audition again.

This will be the last open audition for 2012.

Day one of the auditions were kicked with the Mayor proclaiming the auditions open and a parade. It’s our first trip to Austin, and the turnout was great.   We’ll be back to tape the show in March.

Stern will provide his feedback on the colorful array of hopeful future stars who are currently auditioning in major cities around the country for the show’s upcoming seventh season.
The announcement was made by Paul Telegdy, President, Alternative and Late Night Programming, NBC.
